After the document chase

The other agents, once the first one has paid for itself

Gemini and Copilot can summarize your inbox. We make sure the phone gets answered, the documents show up, the quote goes out, and your people know how things are done at your firm, all inside the software you already pay for.

  • Flagship

How it works

From first coffee to a working agent in about a month

No big up-front project. We start with one agent that pays for itself, then build from there.

  1. 01

    BusyWork Audit

    15 min · free

A video call to confirm the document chase is the problem. If it is, the build is the same one we run for every accounting firm. We don't design a new automation on the call.

  2. 02

    Blueprint

    1–2 weeks · from $750, credited

We map your software, data and people, then write a fixed-price plan with the expected time saved, the risks, and who on your team approves what.

  3. 03

    Build & launch

    2–4 weeks

We build it inside your existing accounts, run it on real work with a person checking every result, and train the team on a video call until they trust it. On-site tune-up from January.

  4. 04

    Care plan

    monthly

We monitor it, fix it when your software changes, review results with you every month, and add the next agent once the last one has paid for itself.

Who we work with

Built for offices that run on email, paperwork and follow-ups

We focus on a few industries so we already know your software, your busy seasons and your compliance rules. Each one has a fixed-price starter package.

Be ready before tax season, not buried in it.

Chasing client documents is the number-one complaint in accounting firms. We automate the chasing, reading and data entry, handle the compliance paperwork, and have it running before January.

  • Month-end close agent that lists exceptions and asks clients
  • Engagement letter and onboarding flow, from intake to e-sign

Trust & Enablement

AI the whole team uses, without the risk

Most offices already pay for Copilot or Gemini, and half the staff are quietly pasting client data into ChatGPT. We've rolled AI out across real teams. We set the rules, tighten the settings, write the compliance paperwork and train everyone on their actual work.

  • Policy & compliance kit

A plain-English AI policy, a WISP addendum (201 CMR 17), and the consent templates your industry needs: §7216 for tax, ABA 512 for law.

  • Tools set up right

Copilot, Gemini or Claude configured with business-grade privacy, the right permissions, and a shared prompt library for each role.

  • Hands-on training

Short video sessions built around your team's real tasks, on site from January. They may qualify for up to 100% reimbursement through Massachusetts' Workforce Training Fund.

  • Measured results

Before and after time tracking, so you know exactly what each agent is worth.

Local & in person

Real people down the road, not a faraway agency.

BusyWork is a one-person practice in Fitchburg. Robert builds the agents and stays on the monthly review. Audits are on video through December. From January, he's at your office.

We've spent years rolling out AI inside real companies, and we've learned it pays off only when it's built into how a team works. Handing it to one person and walking away doesn't work. We bring that discipline to businesses with five people, not five thousand.

  • You own it

Your accounts, your data, your agents. No lock-in.

  • A person stays in control

Agents draft, sort and flag. People approve what matters.

  • Measured, not hyped

We track the hours saved, or we change the approach.

Questions

What owners usually ask us first

Is my data safe? Will client information be used to train AI?

We use business-grade AI services that don't train on your data, and everything runs in accounts you own. Sensitive data stays in the systems it already lives in. We write the paperwork Massachusetts requires (a WISP addendum under 201 CMR 17), plus §7216 consent for tax firms and an ABA 512 checklist for law firms, and we show you exactly where your information goes.

We already pay for Copilot or Gemini. Why would we need you?

Those tools are good at one person's inbox and documents. They don't answer your phones, chase your clients for documents, compare carrier quotes, or know how your firm does things. We also set up the tools you already pay for properly, so you get value from them before buying anything new.

Do I need to be technical, or switch software?

No. We work with the phone system, email, accounting and industry software you already have, whether that's Clio, QuickBooks, HawkSoft, AppFolio or Jobber. If a small new tool would genuinely help, we'll explain the cost and why before you decide.

Is this going to replace my staff?

That isn't the goal. We take the repetitive parts off your team so they can spend more time on clients and on the work that needs a person. Most clients use the time to take on more business without hiring.

What if the AI gets something wrong?

Anything that reaches a client, involves coverage or legal judgment, or moves money has a person approving it. Every agent keeps a record of what it did, and we review the results with you every month.

Do you really come to our office?

Yes. We're based in Fitchburg and work in person within about an hour's drive, from Worcester and Lowell to Nashua. We also do video calls if you prefer.

If it's the document chase, the build is already decided.

15 minutes on a video call, only if the document chase is the problem. The build is the same one for every firm. We don't design a new automation on the call.
